Sidevindu med skyvevindu fikk jeg nettopp pris på til 9900! pr stk + mange timer jobb for å bytte.
Noen som har tips på hva jeg kan gjøre med sidevinduene mine, de lekker vann, det gikk før å ha en liten kile i nedkant av det lille skyvevinduet for å holde det tett, men nå lekker de som siler. Det blir ikke aktuelt å bruke 30 000 på nye vinduer med det første.
Problemet med at det kommer vann inn er at det går i solskjermen sånn at den ikke dras inn, byttet den ene i fjor, nå er den nye treg.
Noen som vet alternative måter man kan få dette i orden på? det må jo være bare den lille pakningen på skyvevinduet som er problemet.

Are there any known problems involving water ingress on the VW Transporter bases, especially the T5. side sliding windows?
If your T5 was one built late 2004 to 2006 (ish) you will have a problem will leaking side windows, unless they have been changed under warranty. This was a disaster for VW when the T5 came out and a bit of a joke. However those built from 2007, have a revised design.

I have 2006 model, it has been leaking. I found it helped to clean the glass surface and the gasket, and then spray it with silicon spray. I though next action would be to use vaselin or other grease or silikon grease (non hardening) but I never had to do that.

Enten er pakningen dårlig eller så glapper vinduet (plast-tapper som løper i spårene er slitte).

Du kan skifte disse selv så lenge som du har adgang til over kant av vindu (på California er den delvis blokkert av deksel)
For anyone who is thinking about this job - it is very simple indeed! All you need is a medium-sized flat-bladed screwdriver (possibly with some electrical tape around to protect the van).
Slide open the window 1/3
Use screw driver at the top, just back from the front corner, between the sliding pane and the guide, to lift the guide and allow the vertical pin (attached to the window) to pop outwards and in the top front corner of the sliding pane to move towards the centre of the van by an inch or so.
Repeat with the bottom front corner - insert screwdriver, twist 45degrees and gentle pull the window towards you until the lower guide pin pops out of the guide.
The window will now be secured only at the back edge by the vertical sliding locking pins top and bottom and two more rotating plates c. 1.5 cm long in the same location at the locking pins. Do not pull or force the sliding pane into the van yet.
Open the butterfly clip to unlatch the window and keep holding it open - this allows the sliding pane to pivot inwards at the front edge - remember that this is still latched at the rear (top and bottom) by the pivoting plates. Pivot the front portion of the sliding glass in towards the van by c. 45 degrees.
Now, with the window still pivoted inwards and the butterfly latch still held open, pivot the whole sliding pane downwards (front top corner moving forwards and downwards towards the front of the van). This should allow the rear top corner of the window to leave the guide rails - the window is now only connected by the lower rear corner pivots, so lift the pane upards to remove from the guide entirely.
Done!

De skiftet vindu og rullegardiner flere ganger på min -09 mod

Litt håpløst at pakningen ikke er mulig å kjøpe løst. Men takker for tips, min 2006 lekker nemlig og
Får prøve nå mens det er oppholdsvær her i Bergen

Jeg skiftet kun pakningen ved å flytte over den fra det skjyvevindu som jeg bestilte på Ebay (ca 1630 NOK).
Funker glimrende enn i dag, nesten 2 år etterpå...
...Men det forutsetter at det er pakningen som er dårlig og ikke de tapper som løper i skinnene, noe som fører til at vinduet ikke legger nok press mot hovedvindu..
