Uneven acceleration.

Hi Guys,
Lately my car (VW Caravelle, 1987 model, 2.1L, 112HP) has shown sign of uneven acceleration. At times I have jerking motion while accelerating. It seems the fuel flow is stopped for a second or so. The fuel tank along with fuel pump and the fuel filter are new so dirt in the fuel is out of the question. Would spark plugs or leads cause this problem. It has been a while since I changed the plugs and leads. Any suggestions?
Kind regards.
Xavi

probably electric connectionproblem. remove the ECU behind right taillight and clean contacts, spray etc and make sure each connector is tight on. also remove and clean the hall sensor front left side of engine bay. remove corrosion from alu plate. and use contact cleaner and or GT-7 on the rest of the connectors

Check your ground wires to engine block also.

If you are unlucky, the contact strip inide your air mass meter might be worn. This box is not made to be opened, so make sure you try everythig else first.
